The Pastoral Care Ministry of St. Mary’s Parish serves as a vital link between parish life and those who are homebound or confined to nursing homes. Dedicated men and women seek to bring the compassion and presence of Christ to others through visitation, prayer and the Eucharist. Our volunteers meet bi-monthly for faith sharing, support and on-going training.

Volunteer commitment typically consists of assigning a homebound or nursing home parishioner.  We offer and bring them the compassion and love of Jesus through the Eucharist.  The time commitment is flexible and scheduled individually with the person you are visiting.  If you would like to volunteer, please call or email Claire Theriault.

Each year in the month of June, our parish hosts a Eucharistic Celebration and Anointing of the Sick Liturgy followed by a luncheon. All are welcomed to attend especially those who are ill, facing surgery or undergoing treatments.

Please call the office if you are unable to attend Mass or know of someone who is homebound and would like to receive visitation, prayer and the Eucharist.
