Fees for Musician Services

Organist $175.00
Soloist (vocalist) $100.00

Outside musicians

To ensure that your wedding goes smoothly, we strongly recommend the use of the parish musicians. However, if you wish to substitute an outside organist or main musician for your wedding, the fee ($175.00) will still be charged. This practice, know as a “Bench Fee,” is practiced in many churches, both Catholic and non-Catholic, to ensure part of the organist’s income. If guest vocalists or instrumentalists need additional rehearsals beyond prior to the service, an additional fee may apply.

Additional musicians (trumpet, strings) can be arranged. Each will have his/her own fee.

If you request music that the organist does not own, you may be required to pay for purchase. Normally, this is under $10.00.
