Pastoral Care Ministry

The Pastoral Care Ministry of St. Mary’s Parish serves as a vital link between parish life and those who are homebound or confined to nursing homes. Dedicated men and women seek to bring the compassion and presence of Christ to others through visitation, prayer and the Eucharist. Our volunteers meet bi-monthly for faith sharing, support and on-going training.

Each year in the month of June, our parish hosts a Eucharistic Celebration and Anointing of the Sick Liturgy followed by a luncheon. All are welcomed to attend especially those who are ill, facing surgery or undergoing treatments.

Our parish also offers a support group for those caring for loved ones and friends. This is a on-going meeting which takes the place on the first Tuesday of the month from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in the Parish Hall. Newcomers are most welcome to attend.

Please call the office if you are unable to attend Mass or know of someone who is homebound and would like to receive the Eucharist.
